This is a love letter to Prog bands everywhere. I wanted to make a tune the likes of Symphony X's "The Odyssey" or Dream Theater's "Change of Seasons" but with NES sounds. I used 0cc Famitracker with 2A03 (traditional NES) + VRC6 (ala Shovel Knight) + MMC5 (for a couple extra pulse channels), emulating drums, bass, rhythm and lead guitars, and keyboard. The entire tune is 22 minutes, with 37 unique sections (and a handful of returning sections where I heard them come back), lots of tempos/time signatures, and it uses all 12 keys (albeit some used very briefly). I hope you enjoy this epic NES piece. :)
