Partialism - Great North Run (16-Bit)

okay so I wanted to do this for a while after the original (given I did it with regent centre)

most of this is quite old, I only got around to finishing it in the last week or so

the drops are very loud and messy, which I am trying to figure out how to fix in my future 16-bit work

UPDATE (29/06/22): long overdue general improvements to this

  1. dampened the bass a bit
  2. got rid of the overarching square in the drop so it's less noisy
  3. added the little square ditties from the last E-major bit into earlier sections of the song

good stuff, gives me sonic 3 vibes

Kind of sounds like a mashup of EnV, the song Knockerboys, and the Fancy Pants Man OST. (But in chiptune, of course.)

Partialism responds:

It's a bizarre song
this version is even weirder than the 8 bit one

also I need to know what fancy pants man is

This is great, I liked the bass too much. And like how the theme flows without ceasing to be exciting

Partialism responds:

cheers andre
I've definitely improved at 16 bit lately, hopefully I will come back with a bit more soon :)
