With this one I wanted to mix, wholesome and awkward to better personify the first date of any romantic relationship. Let alone the fantasy lore I've been doing here. This song is split into two parts.

The first part depicts the boy helping The Lonely Love Spider understand human behaviour to better blend in, in public. While she is a fast learner, it takes some getting used to. He teaches her everything, from the various foods humans eat to how one presents themselves in public. Afterwards they go on their first date together. One food he left out during her teaching, because he wanted to surprise her. They go to a surf and turf place. He orders a burger for himself and orders a plate of lobster and shrimp for her. Since she's never been in the ocean before, she never knew what sea life was like let alone anything edible. So when she sees the lobster and shrimp she's excited. To her it was like eating giant bugs. Of course while it goes well for the most part, her spider instincts kick in every now and then. Starting with that lobster. Let's just say if you know how a spider eats bugs, you'd know exactly how she chowed down her lobster. Luckily, not only was her date not embarassed, but one of the onlookers, clearly someone who seems like a womanizer; drops his jaw in shock for how much she deflated that lobster. Patting the boy on the back and telling him how lucky he is. She is confused and he says "I'll tell you later." They spend the rest of the day together seeing the sights and enjoying the world their own way. Having a great time.

The second part is at night, they come home together. Her in spider form so that way he could slip past his parents. They're used to his bug collection, so a spider on the shoulder doesn't surprise them. They go to his room and she changes back. He gives her a book on sexual education between humans, so she can be better prepared for when they are ready. That was when she brings up the subject. "According to your book on dating, it says that the date is not officially over without the first kiss. I was wondering if....we could try that." Both of them seem to stare at each other for a long time, as if mentally daring each other to make the first move. After a while they both go in at the same time. Since the beginning of Romance Novels there were at least 10 stories that involved the most romantic kisses in them. From Romeo and Juliet to The Princess Bride. This not only became the 11th, but it knocked it out of the park. The kiss was neither too perfect, nor too awkward. Not too soft, but not to hard. Just two people locking lips with each other, because they enjoy their company with one and other. They want to be with each other and they love each other. A love that seemed to put the Spider one step closer to getting a successful mate for life.
