Here's a song I wrote in the bygone year of 2019 (before the apocalypse) :o

I decided to write a song from the perspective of a mythical creature I discovered, called a Peryton. Search it up if you want to learn some lore; this video might make more sense.

I sat on my bed one day with my synthesizers and a looper pedal and recorded a bunch of stuff, eventually resulting in this whole song. (I even recorded vocals under a blanket in my bathroom)

a mountain swelled above my gaze

a peak avert the barren plains

betwixt the reaches of the sand

I found you under birch and stone

the sky was moving while I held your stare

through bygone days and summer haze

I sensed that I had lost your praise

and held me over candle light

you said you'd like to see if I could burn

you cut my horns for new displays

my colors started giving way

I ran away and heard your call

was blinded by the fog came from your breath

the clouds I knew were drowning me

and turned around to hear my plea
