I use to work in a hospital, and one day I was taking my break

and I always go into the hospital chapel to play the piano

to let out some stress. On this particular day, there was a

elderly woman sitting and praying. I walked passed her and asked her if it was ok to

play the piano, and she said sure no problem. I can see

she was crying, so I didn't say anything else. So I started playing

and I heard her crying a little louder, so I closed my eyes

and this feeling came over me, and I started playing this tune.

The more she cried, the more I felt her pain and my fingers just kept

moving, almost like they were moving on their own.

I felt this deep sadness for this stranger who was crying.

So I just kept playing free style, doing what ever came to mind, then the

next thing I knew, this crying stranger came behind me and

gave me this huge long hug, and she said. "thank you, you played

wonderful, and that song was so beautiful". She then told me that her

husband of 35 years had passed away today, and that he also played the piano

and she thought she felt his spirit through my playing.

Since then, I always played this song when ever I feel lost,

alone or sad. This song reminds me that no matter what happens

no matter how bad things are ,it will get better.

we as humans can adapt and move on. So take a deep breath

get up and keep on living.
