Beautiful playing, Mihai! I wasn't familiar with this one.
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (8 March 1714 – 14 December 1788) is the fifth child of Johann Sebastian Bach and Maria Barbara Bach, making transition between Baroque and Classical style.
"March for the Ark" is a piece written for 4 trumpets and timpani. It has 3 parts following the A B A (reprise) structure.
Here I play just the first part, A, on 3 trumpets and a flugabone/ marching trombone.
Composition and arrangement is in the Public Domain.
Beautiful playing, Mihai! I wasn't familiar with this one.
Thanks. Many years ago, I was still in Music Academy, we had a 2 weeks masterclass on Baroque music (Bach Academy), and the trumpet teacher gave me this. Some days ago, by looking for corona-music-boredom-killing activities, I've stumbled upon this and said "why not".
