So far I'm noticing that the "one-song-a-day" production schedule has me writing relaxed musics as opposed to the atonal stuff I'm always trying to find an audience for. Best y'all enjoy this tonality because once Jamuary is over I'm going back to producing trash AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME. I LOVE TRASH, YUM YUM TRASH, I WANT TO EAT TRASH.

Thank you Schatten. All my melodies are variations on the same notes and progressions I've been playing since college. Melodies are just patterns and shapes, usually symmetrical divisions of time. A guitar makes more sense in regards to "shapes" as there are some shapes that sound good regardless of where you are on the neck. Piano is more linear than guitar but it's the same principal. Once you grow a feeling for what intervals are going to sound good, it all just becomes playful hand spasms :)

Watch enough loop station videos, realize that good music can be written and recorded in a minute. There are 1440 minutes in a day. That's like... 1440 chances to write a good vibe :3
