Great!
This song admittedly leans more orchestral than dubstep, which will probably come as a surprise to most of you, but it does still incorporate some Xtrullor-esque elements into the buildup and even a bit of future bass in terms of some sound selection. Unlike all of the above categories though, it maintains the 140 BPM of classic dubstep (I know, I'm being a bit old school here, but don't worry, there'll definitely be some 150+ BPM dubstep from me in the future). Anyway, I'd say this probably has more work going into the automations than almost any song I've done before, and also the longest work time I've had on a song in quite a while, with a total work time of 23 hours and 7 minutes.
I really appreciated Carlos Delgado's contributions to the voicing, pace and providing an organic sound despite its electronic nature to the track, and will be sure to use these elements more in the future. I also have to thank him for the inspiration on the title, as he described the track as being "medieval" and depicting "a judgment day struggle between the forces of good and evil". Overall, this was really enjoyable for me to make (even if rather difficult), and I hope you enjoy listening!
