Once again I've returned to the Halloween Spooktacular! Working in a collaboration this year, with my good buddy PlatforminMike! Created this piece for his character Yurei from his work in progress game Dobukai! He created a piece of art to go along with it! Let me know what you all think! Happy Spooky day everyone! :D

The beginning caught me a bit off-guard, it was not what I was expecting, but the buildup afterwards was splendid. The organ gave it the spookiness and suspense that goes along with the dark and gloominess of the shadows, giving the impression that there is no hope and a sense of danger or fear, but the sudden and upbeat introduction of strings takes all of that away. The gloomy and spooky mood is lifted up and swept away by this lighthearted and warm mood that, somehow, still carries with it the spookiness and mystery that can be heard at the beginning of the song, perfectly embodying your title "Triumph in the Shadows".

Absolutely LOVED the use of stringed instruments and(as you might already know) the sound they can make is my favorite among the instruments. Your use of them was extraordinary.

The use of drums, was perfectly done. They started small around 1:14-15 but then evolved into a faster and more noticeable beat at 1:27 and starting to carry more of the song.
I really liked the sudden replacement of the spooky ghost sound with the dual organ tracks in 1:40. One track to keep the song going and the other to crescendo, both of which were really good.
When the song switched from strings and drums into soft, quiet and melodic woodwinds in 2:20(from what I could tell it was mostly flutes). I really enjoyed how they resembled the calm after the storm and replaced the organs. And in 2:49-50 the strings and drums joined back in for the climax, the epic fanfare at the end of a hard earned victory. The squeaky door closing was a very clever way to signify the end and give closure to the song.

Please correct me if I'm wrong anywhere, and I'm sorry for having such an annoyingly long review. 10/10 for the song, keep up the good work!

Peace Out
