Have been exploring different techniques with recording and editting since classes have started. This song I separated the kick, snare, and cymbals, as well as added some "overhang" to the cuts of the clips. I'm trying to minimize on that "cut" sound that I have in my synths.
The recording technique I used in this, I learned, is called "overdubbing." Laying down the drums, then recording the synths, one after the other; it's fun to play with the different sounds as they get all mixed down. Also practicing getting my hits and timing more tight, though I feel this one still has a bit of an unstable sound...
