Wrote this song in October 2020, based on a NZ friend's story they told me on Discord regarding driving on a wintery night the year prior.

Bit rough around the edges, and with no chorus...

It was late at night and the winds were howling

Roads were icy and my vision was clouding

Drove through the interstate passed the wrong way sign

didn't know it then or why I ended out alive

Car was totalled that's all insurance said

they didn't care for me, thankful I'm not dead

Saw a car in my headlights going really fast

Swerved to the side, They had passed

Rush of adrenaline hit me like a brick

But I maneuvered out of that one, real quick

Ain't in New Zealand so I ain't behind bars
