I like the crisp drums at the beginning and the quirky atmosphere. The bass at :20 is a bit too loud, but otherwise the mixing and balance of the frequencies is solid here. The composition is a little slow to develop, especially for such a short piece, and later on I get a tad thrown off by the disjointed structure (see the sudden transitions at 1:26 and 1:35). I also think some of the riffs in here could be more varied at some point, with a smoother sense of ebb-and-flow over time, as opposed to a flitting back and forth between a few different riffs. Still, I enjoyed the quirky sound design, rhythmic components, production quality, and a lot of the individual motifs. The arrangement just could’ve had a bit more thought behind it, and at some point some more prominent melodic content would’ve been nice. I also really like your drum samples. Anyway, keep at it, Turret1234! :)
