You can really tell where I ran out of ideas on this one lol

I got FL Studio awhile back so I decided why not?

Uploaded this to get into NGUAC.

Mainly used Flex, and other assorted things from FL Studio.

I like the crisp drums at the beginning and the quirky atmosphere. The bass at :20 is a bit too loud, but otherwise the mixing and balance of the frequencies is solid here. The composition is a little slow to develop, especially for such a short piece, and later on I get a tad thrown off by the disjointed structure (see the sudden transitions at 1:26 and 1:35). I also think some of the riffs in here could be more varied at some point, with a smoother sense of ebb-and-flow over time, as opposed to a flitting back and forth between a few different riffs. Still, I enjoyed the quirky sound design, rhythmic components, production quality, and a lot of the individual motifs. The arrangement just could’ve had a bit more thought behind it, and at some point some more prominent melodic content would’ve been nice. I also really like your drum samples. Anyway, keep at it, Turret1234! :)

not a bad start with FL. the ending section reminds me of chemical brothers a lot, and is definitely the strongest part of the track. love the discordant bass slap as a transition into the more major sounding breakdown. mix wise, the bass guitar needs to come down in relative volume. and the overall volume should proabably come down before the master limiter pushes it back up. really like the big compressed drumkit sound though. would be good to get something built around a more focused idea and thoughtful structure, but i definitely want to hear more from you!
