This piece was written for a D&D party playing through the campaign of Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus. The piece starts off with a theme inspired by the themes of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. The subsequent character themes were inspired by the descriptions and pictures the players sent me.

Hey! Good to see that you have made another song after all this time. When I found out, I decided to immediately listen to it. This review is based on first listen and might be suject to change in the future. But for now, this is what I have to say about it:

I can already tell you kind of went back to the more epic cinematic side of your catalog from the earlier days (Rise of Champions is probably my best reference to this statement) and I like how you keep the constant fantasy vibe in the track.

I haven't played the game, so I cannot make any image of the characters you tried to describe with all the several parts welded together into one track, but I feel like you pretty much nailed every single one of them (I only have this image as my reference). The fact that this is a seven-parter that changes, but not to the point of sounding completely different also helps in that perspective. It feels like a suite of an orchestral concert in that way or something.

My favourite part of this track was immediately Daria's part (3:32), it was calmer, and I always like the sound of the bell in music (because it enforces that feeling of epicness) and I just liked the string and choir arrangements throughout.

For a fantasy piece, this works really well, but I am probably not as much into fantasy as you are. For the track, in and of itself, I'm feeling a 7.9 out of 10 (rounded to a solid number, that's 8/10, so 4 stars).

Good job in that regard.

EagleGuard responds:

Thanks for the lengthy review and your thoughts man, I really appreciate it! And you're right, I've been exploring the orchestra a bit more recently, so I hope to make some more orchestral tracks when I find the time, haha.

D&D is poggers

EagleGuard responds:

Indeed it is!

Man this is about as cool as it gets. O:

EagleGuard responds:

Thanks!
