Something I started working on back in March that I touched up a bit for the Newgrounds Underdogs’ Audio Contest. This is actually for a friend's game project I'm doing music/sounds for, who gave me permission to post here. Hopefully we'll be able to share more details in the future.
The soundtrack overall is going to be heavily Sega Genesis sounding, to invoke a retro feeling, and because it's very fun to work with.
Great song and super high energy, can wait to be bouncing around at the speed of shotgun :D
Nice, I'm no expert in these kind of soundtracks, but you definitely hit that retro feeling right. When I turned this on I had a flash from the past when I was a kid and had that old gameboy, there was similar sounding music in one fight scene. I just can't remember the name of that game darnit...
But anyways, good work :)
