Might I interest you in a free software called LMMS (it's my goto DAW)? I'm not sure if it's on MacOS, but it's on Linux and Windows. If you only have an iPad I don't really know any good software other than garageband for iOS

song was originally named Space Vibes and i released it to yt under that name, if you see anyone call it that, it is the same song, just thought it needed a much nicer name
yeah i made this on my ipad because i suck, if anyone who listens and is also a producer knows any good software pls pls tell me seriously i'm dying inside
