Ooh, pleasant surprise! This one is actually the first of its kind I ever did. Got some nice libraries and the idea just popped into my head. Couldn't put it down. I wouldn't even really say you need music theory to recognize good music. It's been a good 8 years since I came out of college. I only ever took 2 years of theory, and almost failed out of it at that. I still have a couple charts and graphs I made for my own benefit, but I do most everything by ear, usually by humming whatever I intend to write. The only reason I really needed any theory was for structure and in general knowing how to write out the rhythms I want, hahaha. Thanks for the kind, enthusiastic reviews!
