Super cool song
So?ing Machine - "Some of our tracks can't be covered"
Came in 2nd place in SunVox Compo 2021.02, just one point off of 1st, with 281 points! 65 entries were scored 1-7 by entrants, and each is UNDER 64 KB in size when zipped!
I've entered all but the previous comp since 2014 hoping to provide a decent demo track for the next version, and this is the first time one's actually made it in! Was nervous because in spite of having stuff like that Pretty Good synth sax that definitely was never supposed to be a kazoo and a few Real Cool microtonal chords as aces up my sleeve, much of this was rushed in at the last minute after leaving the project untouched for over a month, which shows to me in a few places I won't direct any unneeded attention to. 8) I was also optimistic the way I had been about Bubble Blinders in 2019, which only managed to place 13/50. but yaaay it'll be in 2.0!
You can listen to all entries (and see a few people's cool visual gimmicks tailored to the compo player) here:

I know you can at least find @acheney 's entry right here on Newgrounds:
aaand I wanna give a shoutoutâ„¢ to sk0, whose entries barely cracked the top 10 but were the only ones I gave full scores to. Thought they'd be great tracks to sell new SunVox users on it, so if you fit that description in the future, check those out!
Super cool song
This was one of my 7/7 tracks during the compo.
Love the saxophone so much, really expressive and lively.
Thank you! I won't let you down this year. ;^)
Ah, so?ing machine… at last I have found a fellow SunVox user on NG
Song was really beautiful, entranced me all the way through
