Attack On Titan episode 73 was delayed due to an earthquake in Wakayama , japan and aot fans lost thier damn minds on twitter over it like a bunch of spoiled lil brats.

I agree certain fandoms can be, for the lack of a better term, addicted to their favorite fiction. To extents such as this one can be quite toxic.

yeah, and the bigger the fandom the more toxic the fans seem to get. rick and morty is a good example of a toxic fan base [but a great show] where people were freaking about the stupid mcdolnalds sauce that was in a rick and Morty episode, and started losing their minds in mcdolnalds. people are way too obsessed with entertainment, this and the attack on titan fan base is a good example of that.
