📝Author's Notes.

-It's just tradition to start a War of the Worlds story with the monologue. The only challenge here was a balancing act of keeping it unique, faithful, but also fitting this version's core theme.

-While the novel takes priority for Martian lore, the shape and animation on the "shooting stars" is a visual callback to the '05 film. Just visual though, functionally they're about the same as in the book.
