THE MEANING BEHIND THE PIECE:
This piece represents the feeling you might get when a loved one passes away, the feeling that they take a part of you as much as you keep a part of them. This is represented by the neon colors utilized in the characters. The color of the man is NEON BLUE and NEON ORANGE is the color of his loved one (the girl). The man keeps on him a NEON ORANGE bracelet and strap on his chest, and his lovers' spirit keeps on her a NEON BLUE cloth on her waist and you can also see two NEON threads entangled on the cross in their two NEON colors representing that they both keep a part of each other even after death and representing the emotional tie between them. The feeling of LOSS and SADNESS is also represented in the piece mainly through the intense shadowing in the man, but also in the over-all background and foreground through the rain and the color gradient found in the cloudy sky.

STORY BEHIND THE PIECE (This is basically the lore behind the piece) :
A letter to no one from a dead man -
"This world... It has never been beautiful... Nothing about it is worth saving... This war is as good as over... And we already lost... Nevertheless.. We keep fighting.. Fighting for those we LOVE, those we care about, those we want to keep alive... To cherish each and every moment with them... After all, LOVE is what keeps us alive... LOVE and NEON is what we share in order to stay alive... That's how this world works... NEON is our source of life just like oxygen used to be centuries ago... Without the LOVE or NEON from those you love... You're as good as DEAD... Because NEON without LOVE is absolutely worthless... Today will be the third day since my partner, the one I loved, was murdered by ONE OF THEM... I'm almost out of HER NEON... This will be my last day alive... HER memory is fading away... It was just enough time to bury and mourn HER... Now I'm afraid my time has come... It's time to say goodbye to this HORRIBLE... ROTTEN... BRIGHT place..."
