Lineart
On break again, so I got some time to get some art stuff done. Took me about 5 days to get it done to my liking. It started off as me just practicing gestures, but the pose I came up with grabbed my attention so I just stuck with it. Once I started giving a figure I pretty much just went autopilot and it turned into Cerebella (because of course it would), and I just went on from there.
Though not a wise choice, I decided to avoid using any anatomy or lighting guides/refs on this as I wanted to see what I could achieve without doing so. If you've seen any of my past works, it's pretty apparent that I get the idea of some things, but don't really execute them well, so I wanted to take what i've observed from other artists and studies but just from raw memory and worked onward. With that being noted, there's bound to be mistakes, hell I had to redo the hands, which them on their own are probably the weakest points of the image. I did kinda look up some stuff for black clothing though... the lighting kinda confused me but I think it works.
All that being said though, I really feel like I achieved a lot with this one. It's my most complex piece i've done this year (so far at least) and I really put a lot into it. Hopefully it shows.
