Pure Love

"Gay love is the same as straight love" ..then I see how many homo-centric movies, shows etc focus on the main characters dealing with doubts and fear about their sexuality instead of the love. It does represent reality, but sometimes I just want to be inspired that homosexual love can happen without all those insecurities. These things as well as homosexual stereotypes makes homo love come with a certain reputation; certain assumptions, when not all cases are like that.

Since media wasn't cutting it (though they've broadened more in the past years) I made this to hopefully represent that they truly are the same

No joke, every lesbian romance movie or tv show I've ever watched featured a bisexual girl engaged to a dude who falls in love with a butch which forces her to choose between the dude or the girl. Cliche as fuck, glad you also noticed how corny GLBT media typically is. Sure, the stereotypical American narrative might have made more sense a decade or two ago but this generation is moving on. I think producers need to explore normal GLBT relationships more often instead of portraying us all as confused and conflicted because we are most certainly not.

The shame is; most of the time, lesbian couples look like MY type of girls.. but I can't date either of them... because they are together....... DAMN you know? (it's not selfishness, just that I am sad about losing out)
