Backstory: Zircon grew up in a very broken home, surrounded by vile propaganda and tyrannical power. When he was a younger teenager, he was especially told to send his twin brother off far away from everything related to the emperor himself, just so Canti (formerly Topaz) has a better life somewhere else. The father was a hardworking drone pretending to support the emperor while the mother served as a space fighter, which was highly forbidden considering the emperor did not want his subjects mixing with non-Azorthians. They both got executed for hiding the secret, right when Zircon entered adulthood. Zircon was put under extreme pressure about serving for the emperor due to his incredible usefulness and loyalty, and when he finally gave in, the emperor became everything to the poor fool as he’s all Zircon ever had at the moment. That is, until he met Tick via a dating site, created by the Datan black market, which he used to blend in the bigger crowd and get a normal life himself eventually– Turns out, it’s where he finally found his love… An actual reason to secretly defy Lord Azorth. Frustrated at the odd, unusual defiance from who was thought to be his most loyal drones, the lord decided to send a few of his secret helpers to bring Zircon in for a “vaccine experiment,” which was a disguised drug used to turn him into an obedient super soldier and for Tick to be ultimately executed in the morning. However, the drug had some serious flaws and the lord was about to find out that he fucked with the absolutely wrong couple…
