Portrait study I did last month; a sort of continuation of the portrait journey I started last year. With this most recent one, I finally listened to all the master portrait artists out there that say to USE FEWER VALUES and STOP BLENDING SO MUCH! I restricted myself to about 7 grays to start, used a hard brush, and only a tiny amount of blending near the end. It went so much smoother! And I feel like I finally managed to get rid of that "doughyness" that my previous portraits kinda had lol.
