In the very, very distant future, due to the some king of eco-catastrophe, the Earth is covered by storm clouds and split in two areas - Above and Below the clouds. Above the clouds lives Aristocracy, almost immortal rulers of the new world, spending their lives surrounded by all kinds of pleasures, luxury, clothed with authority and power over lives of thousands people. Below the clouds, in the eternal rainy night, lower layers of society lives in overcrowded cities, struggling for existence. Aristocracy proclaimed a new religion, called themselves the Race of a New Gods and banned all other religions. Still, in the cities of Below, the United Underground Church ease people miserable existence, helping everyone who is suffering, in word and deed, giving a shelter and hope. One of the UUC priests, Michael Babel, is trying to change the situation, fighting the Below crime world and Aristocracy. He's known as Equilibrium. His images can be found all around Below City. People who were saved by him bring candles, and the ones, who desperately seeking help, leave nearby notes for Hero, so he always knew where he is needed most.
