I want to draw more stupid stuff. Inspired by Hayao Miyazaki comparing the Moomins to ugly Jesus art:
"On the day of the screening I told Tomisawa-san that Fantastic Planet looked like a Bosch painting, but I meant this in the sense that it looked like what Bosch paintings mean to me. In other words, it’s attractive, pretty, and at the same time it clearly invites a type of physical revulsion. It reminds me of the shock I experienced when I first saw medieval images of Christ. I couldn’t believe what repulsive images the artists had used to represent God. I was simply aghast - there was no way that I could have regarded them as beautiful. I am glad that I am Japanese - I find our Kudara Kannon statue of the Bodhisattva of Compassion far more beautiful. It’s probably because I’m a typical Japanese, but to me the carnal world of Bosch, the weird images of Christ, the films of Topor, and the ceiling paintings that I saw in an old country house at the folk museum in Zurich are all terribly ugly, and if I had to look at them all winter long I would probably go insane... So for the same reason they are probably also incomprehensible to me. I frankly feel the same way even about drawings of the Moomin cartoon characters."
