Hello Everyone! My name is Winilla Ice and today I created a piece for Draw With Jazz's monthly contest titled "Untraditional Art". This theme sparked my interest because I love traditional art. I'm not completely sure where the idea of using paper came from, but I decided to use deer because they're everywhere I live!

I used regular construction paper for the grass and the deer, but I found this really cool paper at Hobby Lobby that reminded me of bark and leaves.

To create this piece I used one sheet of paper to draw the two defined trees and the deer, cut them out, and used them as stencils. Then repeated that process for the grass and the background trees.

I had a great time doing this, and it's inspired me to try to create this type of art again!
