Right, now this one requires some explanation. Basically, mspaintpicasso came up with a guy named Jesse. a bully turned show-offy supervillain for the Squadverse AU, mainly because of the notable lack of antagonistic characters. And since Vivian's already on the hero side she was clearly off the table, so after Jesse's introduction, the two of us decide to come up with ideas for lackeys for the big bad aardvark man, leading to the creation of Sadie, Huxley and Patti. Sadie being an obnoxious know it all gamer, Huxley being a 'rich' snob who cares mainly about money, and Patti being someone who seems sweet, but is really just as self-centered as the other two. (And is also an absolute tattetale.)

We developed all these characters so much that it'd feel like a waste just leaving them in the superhero AU, so after a while street clothes were made for these three instead of just their supervillain identities.

A bit later and I decided to come up with the idea that these three outside of the Squadverse are a trio of swindlers, fooling people hoping these kids would help with a certain cat and squirrel problem into giving them money for all to themselves. Sadie's the strategist, Patti's the face and Huxley's the brawn. Either way I think these three would work pretty well as an obstacle to the main duo. Both me and Tam now have the distinction of being the first people to come up with Murphy & Mitzi fan characters too (to my knowledge, at least) so I think that's pretty cool.
