Probably because Iran is at war with like every other kebab country. They’ve battled iraq in the 80s, they planned to invade Afghanistan in the 90s (for once the UN were’t pussies and said no but at the wrong time in hindsight) & they’re at a Cold War with Saudi Arabia; who still gets western funding despite making iran look woke by comparison.
