This is, quite interestingly enough, a multiple meaning avatar of sorts. At the moment I tied this into my work and beta testing of Elevate, an interesting map/side mission of sorts that's very matrix inspired. Elevate is primarily a completely unrelated, yet awesome and actiony, way to portray hatchet's enhanced and gritty combat system. It remains unfinished, but I'm taking a piece at a time out of it, when practical. As witnessed by the spy gear, intense look, and general custom-made/makeshift arsenal feel from this, it was mostly about how fun it was to salvage and repurpose things for the crafting system and how cool it felt to have an opportunity to do so, but after making it I realized I had almost subconciously installed this doubled relation to not just building an in-game arsenal but building the literal (and nonliteral) arsenal of the game's environment itself, and tied into my work with modding quite so. /Rant.
