Kelly is my main OC and the character I use as an avatar online. If you wanna know more about her, you can go to the oc section of my neocities site!! I basically dedicated that page to her, since she's kind of the only character I have that I actually use. She's not me per say, but I based her initial design and a few of her main personality traits off me. From there, she turned into her own person with her own story.

I've been meaning to make her an actual reference sheet for a while. So, last night I did!! The old one I've been using for WAAAYY longer than I should've is here:

Notes:

• Average height, thin, has freckles
• Her outfits can be changed up. She's usually dressed kind of drab with the gray t-shirt and jeans. On a good day, she'll add more accessories and sometimes a striped long sleeve shirt under the gray t-shirt. Her style is kind of grungy if you have to put a label on it.
• Pretty much always wears converse. She has a red pair and a black pair.

Story Info:

I originally made her as a Pico OC. She's grown past that and has a lot of different stories she's in, and she can interact with the newgrounds universe as a whole. But I also wrote a book about her (in her own universe) for national novel writing month that's currently being revised. It follows her through the latter half of high school.

But in essence, the "book jacket summary" is that she's a shy, cautious girl who's not very sure of herself. Her family moved a lot when she was a kid, giving her a sense that nothing was permanent. She'd make friends then have to leave them behind again, so she started to believe that making friends wasn't worth it, and she closed herself off to others. In school, she always thought of herself as an outsider, but that actually wasn't true. Most people thought she seemed nice, but they couldn't form an opinion of her one way or the other, because she didn't talk to anyone.

Kelly's one true love is and always has been music and her guitar. She always found it easier to express herself through that than actually talking to people. Through all her stress moving from place to place, she always had her music, and it's gotten her through every hard thing that's happened to her. She does secretly want to make good friends though, and her shyness and distrust of people is a struggle she has to overcome in order to do that. The longer she sits in her room practicing guitar, the harder it will be for her to get out in the world and have real adventures. There are people she thinks are cool that she wants to be friends with, but she's beginning to realize she doesn't have much more time before high school ends, and she'll have to move away yet again and go to college.

And that's just the story of the book I wrote, but believe me, I have more stories about her in my head. Hope I can get those stories down within the next 80 years. Why does writing take so long aaaaaaa
