Happy newyear to all of you! I really hope you all like this painting, it took me a really long time to paint in all the tiny details, but i think it paid off in the end!

This is inspiring - the depth of the painting, the breadth of the landscape, and the way the mountains scale into background was placed along an excellent angle. The village lights seem cordial and inviting... yet the ice encrusted crags, layers of luminescent snow, and clouds that bedim; allude to a deeper meaning that perhaps not every traveler is not as welcome as the architecture and flickering glow of lights may allude to.
Every painting deserves a story, sometimes more than a thousand words - and here is one worthy of its own treatise.
Fantastic work here.

The extreme time you put into the details has really payed off. I'm also an avid perfectionist when it comes to details. I really like the contrast in light and shadow.
