Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Heroes

Share

I found the story of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 very nice, especially thanks to the setup of the "Torna the Golden Country" DLC (which I played before the base game).

The characters during the game have very strong introspective moments, both the protagonists and the villains, the only character who never rises from the status of comic relief is Tora.

In fact, the only flaws I found in this game are the exaggerated sexualization of the female figure, and all the perversion around the character of Tora and his family (which is more cringe than being funny).

On the other hand, I very much appreciated the development of the character of Zeke who proves that he is not a child in the body of an adult but a wise man who uses buffoonery as a shield from responsibility; and Morag who begins to open his martial attitude to her feelings without upsetting her character.

Another flaw from my point of view is the huge amount of side missions that distract and kill the rhythm of the main story.

Once again the Monolith has done an incredible job even if overall I enjoyed more the serious and sad atmosphere of the first Xenoblade, however taken together the Xenoblade titles create a beautiful and epic saga.
