Maybe, but at least the kids will learn the notes more easily.
The piano colours are colourful and greatly detailed but what could enhance it is a number on each key, which indicates how many times higher the pitch is from the last C (to detect perfect fifths and thirds)

but just to challenge your suggestion, which is helpful, by the way, what if I want to make an interval in the key of A instead of C? Then, you'd have to add more numbers on top of each other, which sounds extra.
