Entry for jazza's COTM untraditional art :) i was wondering for a while what to do for this and eventually i decided to do a parrot using highlighters as they are usually quite bright and colourful. I initially did a sketch on a seperate piece of paper using a reference and then I traced it using a window onto the final sheet using a very light orange and then just created the pice from there. The background was done using highlighters as well, but combined with water and then sponged on to create the effect of leaves. Overall i really like the way this has turned out :)
