Merrevan, or Merrevans are entities united by a hivemind thinking. Possessing an insect-like appearance, and roach-like wings which allow them to travel freely across all and any surfaces, added on top of their claws being quite sticky, with same advantages. Due to their occasional diet, though not an excessive one, they have evolved ladybug-like back patterns, which they aren't exactly fond of, therefor covering them with their crimson red shirts. They also appear to enjoy human style of clothing overall, and have a liking for anything crimson red, contrary to their purple skin... Noone is quite sure what they are, neither are they, for their origin lies deep beyond their memory capabilities. Created for the sole purpose of purging the purgatory of its trash and clutter, Merrevans had grown quite abit of personality through consumption of insects examplified by the entity known as Grotelle - a human centipede-like entity which evolved solely from the form of a basic purgatorian insect through neverending cannibalism... Merrevans are curious and are always willing to trade valuable items and purgatory's artifacts in exhange for information about other entities and the mysterious infinite library - a heavily guarded chamber that may just hold secrets of their true origin... Serving the White Devil and oftentimes getting to speak to them, at times acting as their own therapist of sorts due to their laid back personality, they cannot help but wonder of their own purpose that may be locked behind their basic urges of exploring the endless purgatory and learning more about it every single day... In Gentlebug, Merrevans are the closest thing to a friend in the violent purgatory filled with its many horrors beyond human imagination...
