"It only sounds crazy because no one ever tried it."

R.M.S. Olympic (launched 20 October 1910, scrapped 1935) was a British ocean liner owned and operated by the White Star Line. She is the lead ship of the Olympic-class ocean liners. Unlike her younger sisters, Olympic enjoyed a successful 24-year career, including a wonderful war record, transporting 200,000 troops to war, and being the only troopship to sink a German U-boat in World War I.

The toughest one by far for me to make out of the three. I felt the her first design didn't suit the character I imagined her to be, which led me to outfit her in a suit. That still didn't feel right to me, so I again redesigned her. A lot of time has passed since then, and I finally figured out how I wanted her design to go. The approach I went to her new design is to make it really feel like she's the leader of the Olympic-class.

In my eyes, the events surrounding her life shaped her personality. She was born overconfident, and with the feeling that nothing could stop her. The sinking of her sister Titanic shattered everything she ever knew, and she spent the next few years trying to bear the guilt of not being able to save her sister. Her reluctance in entering World War I as a troop ship soon faded, as she became a tough and menacing force alone, regaining her confidence, but not to the point where she'd act cocky, like her first years in her career. Britannic's sinking, however, dealt another huge blow to her, as she soon developed a tremendous shame and guilt of not being ale to be "a good sister" to her younger sisters, both now at the bottom of the ocean floor. She had to set her guilt aside for the next years of her life, where she enjoyed tremendous popularity among the public, but had to do her best not to break down with all the comparisons made to her with her sister Titanic.
