Over this year- and probably the last as well- I've had a consistent problem with conveying my ideas. I'd start out with an idea, flesh it out in my mind and then do nothing with it.

I don't watch EVA, but I'd compare it to End of Evangelion, where Shinji needs a massive mental breakthrough to escape the sea of instrumentality. Something along those lines.

And with my art, I need a huge amount of follow-through to complete a project and "get to land". I could make concept art, but I'd say that it's like someone just swimming or half-drowning, in that they don't want to head to land, but you can still see them floating around.
