Gods of Olympus - Sun Wukong

Share

GOD; Martial Arts, Fighting

SYMBOL; Cloud

WEAPON; The Ruyi Jingu Bang (Magical Pole)

VOICE OVER; Quinton Flynn

In his early life he had accomplished great feats that many of the mortal world still hail to this day, but for the mighty gods that reigned over the east none of his accomplishments truly mattered. And to think he was proud to have become the "Patron Saint of Horse Stables", but as he found out it was only because they never wanted some filthy flea ridden monkey in their grand halls touching their beautiful floors of gold. So he rebelled, gaining the mighty Ruji Jingu Bang in the process and even managing to evoke the wrath of the entity they claimed was "The Creator" who at their request sealed him away under a rock for 500 years presumably for the purpose of teaching him "patience" and "never to shun generous gifts".

But he knew the truth, the truth even the animals that would gather around his rock seal would speak so casually like it was just the way of the universe. He only spent about ten years under that rock before a crane from a far away land came and broke that seal with but a single bolt of lightning, he did not even ask for anything in return and just simply said "you are more than some monkey, live your life as you want mighty monkey god". Moved by those words and the gesture the monkey king would then go on and seek out the crane. Eventually finding his way to ancient Greece where the crane lived....it turns out the crane was none other than the king of gods Zeus....

The other gods were hesitant to let a very distant outsider join them on Mount Olympus, but it didn't really matter what they thought of him because not once did they ever have qualms about allowing a monkey into their hallowed halls.
