Friday Flood 17

Prob one of the worst flood topics I''ve ever made.

Oh well.

This is the Skywrath Mage from DOTA2, dressed up in a skin that TheFriendlySquid plays as.

It got just 3 submissions when it could have more and be a proper flood. The theme, "Angry Birds", is difficult to work with: nobody wants to draw anything related to the game, nor are they willing to draw birds that are angry.

Great art as usual. I couldn't find a pic with this particular armour, but I looked up a few Skywrath Mages before starting this review and I really like how you drew him. The golden parts are probably my favourite part. How many colours did you use (approximately) to get a convincing gold? Good job on the reflected colors all around, especially on some of the blue parts of his armour. The only think that really bothers me are the scales on the feet and I am not sure about the angle of his left (right from our view) wing.

Overall splendid work like always. I can only repeat myself, whenever I look at your work the materials and poses are just "convincing". Kinda like... not photo-realistic, but realistic in its setting.

And thank you for another friday flood.
