Proj. Chaplaincy: Floating Eyes, Pt 1

Share

Back when I conceived some of these floating eye enemies in 2012, I tried to loosely base them off aspects of the seven deadly sins. I don't remember which is which now, because many of the files were lost in 2014 and all I got was a partial restoration.

All I do know is that the middle one is based on greed (gold, gemstones, a general sort of lustre to it) and the bottom one is based on wrath (bloodshot eyes, red, a neverending cycle).

Sketchbook as always.

Two of the originals can be found in this earlier drawing:

I don't know yet, but this comment of yours has most certainly given me an idea...

Cool, I love the colors and overall design. I'm really curious about the rest of those eyes. Maybe it's because this reminds me of the Legend of Zelda, but I feel these designs could do really well in a videogame. Seeing as they are based on 7 deadly sins, that could be an even bigger incentive.

Thats some sweet looking art, judging by your last works, it seens your skills improoved quite a lot in the recent days, presuming these are recent. I love the reflection effect on these. Keep posting 'em, theyre awesome.

Troisnyx responds:

They are recent, yes -- I only started working on the blue eye this afternoon! Cheers! ^_^
