It's important to have a strong work-life balance. At least, that's what the supposed experts claim, obviously they didn't take gamers into account when they thought of that concept seeing as games are supposed to be a part of the "life" side of the scales, but at some times they seem to feel much more like they should be considered "work".

There are games out there, like Final Fantasy XIII that demand so much attention that you must abandon anything even resembling a social life in order to be able to finish it in less than a few months. Of course, you can't just take your time and finish it in a few months because some malicious sod on the internet will start talking about the big dramatic finale, spoiling the whole experience.

MMORPGs are even worse, you may not be rushing to get ahead of spoilers yet you're still going to invest many, many hours behind the keyboard because of them. That really should be a given though, seeing as you're probably signing away your soul and the soul of your first-born child by creating an account for any MMO worth playing, and with your soul goes most of your life.

So, you can imagine what happens to us when we get our hands on one of these games.
