i don't plan on using this thing as an enemy, but maybe more as a storytelling device.
anyways this.. thing is a shape shifter, commonly called a stalker because they tend to stalk their victims before killing them and taking their place.
their true from is also INCREDIBLY unstable due to them being made up of pure distortion. this has also resulted in their anatomy being absolutely nonsensical.
