For a beginner you're doing really well, keep doing what you're doing and keep yourself motivated and you'll see improvement comes quite quickly! The image is a little too symmetrical overall, the grass area is a bit flat. Your linework here, while appropriate, lacks style. The most effective way to create a good visual sense of style with linework is to work with more organic shaped, and to vary the linework thickness throughout. That aside, your colors and composition are effective and the characters expression is fun and well done. I think you have good potential and would like to see what else you can do as you continue to challenge yourself. Keep it up and thanks for sharing!

This is the first attempt at a computer based illustration and I was hoping for some feed back, obviously I still have a Very long way to go with my drawings. I'm only 16 yet I've always being interested in drawing, and when I discovered computer art, I became very interested and have being messing around with different programs for weeks, obviously having to stick to the free softwares. This is my first piece on the computer, yet hope I can one day, when I have more practice, I will be able to create many more complex and interesting drawings. The computer art is very new to me, as I have being drawing on paper for many years, but in my opinion it makes images stand out more and generally look more attractive than pictures by Pencil. Although my picture is very basic I hope you like it.
