Indeed, a most accomplished blundering. Fine work with the posing and Bucket's gloriously frustrated expression!

Maybe if you studied rather than going to all those concerts, this wouldn't happen

Who could ever hope to math?

Bucket's "bucket" might just be on a little too tight and cutting circulation off to her brain. You kind of need that for schoolwork and stuff. Just sayin'... (please don't kill me)

Also the button I pressed to pay respects...

sorry, lol.

Anyway, Bucket looks a bit younger in this one. I don't know if that's intentional, but it is fitting, given the context. Also adding to that impression, the washed out colors and grainy texture gives the impression this is happening in the past.

What is even more likely not to be intentional, is that the papers look more like essays than math work, so I'm going to brazenly assume that Bucket is actually fairly smart, both mathematically and linguistically, but she hates going along with authority figures. Thus, all those papers are quite intelligently written arguments for her position, but they take contrary aims to what the teacher wants, this she failed anyway.

I'm sure that interpretation is not at all intended, but I like it anyway. Plus, it explains why she's so mad about the grade. If she just hadn't tried, she wouldn't be mad, but if she actually put a strong effort in, and knows for a fact her papers are 'a' worthy, her anger is well justified. She could also just be a big dumb in denial, but, eh, I don't really like that much. She has too many soft moments to just be a brainless thug, you know?
