I still have one of these and I still use it to watch VHS tapes and for retro gaming. I actually prefer the old cube shaped TVs.

Awesome piece man! i really dig the aesthetics here, this seems to spark some memories for people, myself included, wall mounted crt tvs reminds me of when we would watch movies in school, and used to see these in all kinds of public places like that. i use these displays for gaming and media in the 4:3 aspect ratio, like older shows and what not.

Reminds me of the one we had at home we I was a kid. Ours was a black 21"Philips with a Telefunken VHS player below and a SEGA Genesis on a small makeshift table with the RCA cables hanging. Good times, the coolest thing was to put your hand to the TV to feel the static.

I never had this kind of TV at home, but my nan used to have one and I liked watching it at her house.

This is the kind of setup I had in my middle school classes. Big CRT TV on the top with a VCR below. It doesn't seem like much now, but it was pretty cool back then. Very nice artwork!

Also, I like the reflection detail as well.
