kiisama no mirai wa kensaku-zumida!

Been watching Appli Monsters, it's a great series so far with underrated and overlooked designs, (even by Bandai and Toei themselves >_<), so here is Gatchmon! This was actually my second time drawing him, where I originally did the first for a college project.

Gatchmon was a bit difficult to draw, due to having a rather detailed design compared to other "mascot characters" I've seen in anime in general, but he was still fun to draw and I do wanna draw him again in the future. I went with a simple Tron-esque pattern for the background, without relying too much on detail...but I spent a bit too long on it, ending up with a sort of spy-thriller-esque background.
