Dances with Ants

Share

Here's my contribution to "Peter the Ant Day", featuring Peter dancing with my DeviantArt OC Little Miss Sweetstuff. While picnicking with her parents, she seems to be interested in a particular ant who likes to dance more than he does work. So with her "power of imagination", she shrinks down to Peter's size and joins him in the dance. But as much as he enjoys having a dance partner for a little while, Peter realizes he needs to get back to his duties as a worker ant. She understands and lets him do so, but not before she gives him a piece of cake before he goes. After seeing this scene, her parents don't know whether to think she's being generous or crazy.

Anyway, I know it's pretty late in the game, but I hope you like this anyway.

As i said, Miss Sweetstuff belongs to me, Peter the Ant belongs to @TomFulp .

Thank you!

I like how this got front paged out of random, I wonder how that happened? But anyways it's cool and I like it.

TheLastPencilPusher responds:

I'm not sure myself. Usually it doesn't appear in the Art Portal unless the artist is scouted. Unfortunately I haven't been scouted yet, so it must've appeared in the "Peter the Ant Day 2021" page. Still, I'm very glad you like it.

what a sweet little story!!
