Question from a fan: Why did you make David a reporter?
Answer: It was only natural. We'd read quite a few comics growing up where reporters in comics always have adventures. There were several Italian comics in the 1970s which followed rather erotic adventures of female reporters dealing with everything from monsters and ghosts, to criminals, to even lusty, sexist perverts.
Anyway, David had to be someone who "gets around", is a serious writer, and is on the trail of something fishy. (yes, we made the pun!) The most fun of all is that Leilani is going to get tangled, sometimes literally, in David's adventures.
