We still get a giggle out of this page. David is insistent Jamie move away from the girls and not accost them immediately, and then he's all, "Why, hello there!" as he sidles up to Leilani with the look of a wolf in love. It's such a hypocritical scene and yet it sets the stage for Leilani and David throughout.
But love is always tested, isn't it...?
